Assessment Overview

Maths: Our maths assessments measure understanding across the curriculum expectations for the school year, providing insight into strengths and areas for growth. The “end of year” (EOY) standard refers to expectations for the conclusion of the school year.

Literacy: The literacy assessments evaluate reading comprehension, decoding skills (e.g., sounding out and recognising words), reading fluency, and spelling knowledge. These provide a reading and spelling age range, which we use as benchmarks.
